Listening and Being Heard

Some of us have problems in hearing what is said. Although our Meeting House has a hearing loop Friends may not realise that for some who attend Meeting for Worship this does not work with their hearing aid. We have some wonderful spoken ministry in our Meetings and it is such a shame if it is not heard. On the other hand for some of us with naturally quiet voices and a quiet nature it is very had to project across a crowded room.

Can we remember that Advices and Queries (no 13) asks us to 'Try to speak audibly and distinctly, and with sensitivity to the needs of others'.
